Who Can Apply?

Artists and creatives who reside permanently within the Greater Geelong municipality and are either:

• a sole trader, or
• arts worker of a not-for-profit group/organisation.

What Can You Apply For?

Individuals may apply to finance selected professional and skill development activities including, but not limited to reimbursement of travel costs or registration fees for:

• short courses, including arts related business courses
• work placements
• masterclasses
• workshops
• conferences
• arts residencies
• internships, for example at a festival or an arts organisation
• structured mentoring

How Much Can You Apply For?

You may apply for up to $2,000 (subject to budget limitations).

We have a total grant pool of $16,215 available.

• Check you are an eligible applicant.
• Check your activity is eligible.
• Contact us - discuss your activity with us before applying at communitygrants@geelongcity.vic.gov.au or phone 03 5272 5560.
• Collate any supporting documents.
• Answer the questions in the application form.
• Don't forget to click the submit button. Save your progress regularly to avoid data loss.
